Hey everyone 👋
Here’s what’s new in Hexattack v0.0.2 — a small but important update focused on game flow and end-of-run improvements!
🧩 New & Improved
🎯 End-Game Reward System Overhaul
The reward calculation has been completely reworked!
You’ll now earn gems based on your performance — including waves completed, enemies defeated, and total survival time.
No more zero-reward runs: every effort counts, and players are always rewarded for their progress.
🏁 End Screen Added
A brand-new Game Over screen appears when all waves are completed (or when you die).
It displays your final stats, total gems earned, and makes the game feel much more complete and satisfying at the end of each run.
🧹 Fixes & Tweaks

Adjusted balancing for early-game rewards to make progression smoother.

Cleaned up the game loop and signals to ensure consistent end-of-run handling.

Improved UI responsiveness during game-over transitions.
